Welcome to my online journal, textbook for life, and telephone to the world sharing my journey as I work on being the best wife, mum, daughter, sister, friend, and human-being that I can be. I try to spend my days learning, laughing, loving… living!
My husband and I live in England with our three daughters. They range in age from 8 to 12 years old, so as you can imagine, there’s never a dull moment around here! I’m a part-time dance teacher, social media manager, and freelance writer. My family comes first and like most of us, I wear many different hats, (sometimes at the same time -which can be an interesting fashion statement!)
I’m a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and Orthodox Christian. I’m an unashamed stationery addict, bookworm (when I get the time!), grammar geek, and generally anything creative makes me happy (crocheting, knitting, graphic design…).
I also LOVE 80’s music, John Hughes’ movies, sparkly jewellery and cooking (but hate cleaning up). Oh, and by the way, I’m a bit of a social media nut and would love to hear from you on Twitter or Facebook. If you want to learn even more interesting things about me, read my reverse bucket list- 50 Fab Things.
I’ve always loved reading and writing. As a child you would often find me with my nose in a book or scribbling stories of my own. I started blogging back in 2006 as a way to share my family’s life with friends and family who were thousands of miles away from us. I realised how much I loved it and a new career was born. Several blogs later, this is my ‘home’ online. If you’re interested, you can also see some of my writing on problogger.net, blissfullydomestic.com, and budgetblonde.com.
